It was the worst dental experience of my life. My procedure was supposed to be pain free especially since I paid an extra $200 for medication given by the office 1 hour prior to the official procedure. It was so painful I felt everything. Dr. Ryan was not at all gentle when administering the injections of numbing medication. He didn’t wait a few minutes for the medication to work, instead he would stab my gums with the needle multiple times then continue working. A root canal ended up being an extraction of my tooth! As the procedure started I made reference that I was still in a lot of pain. I literally was screaming and crying! The assistant was so kind grabbing my hand telling me to squeeze it to help me during the procedure. Dr Ryan told her to let my hand go and assist him although at the time she had not duties. She was just standing there! I thanked her anyway. Finally, he pulled my tooth out that had deep roots. Lord it was a horrible! I had nightmares about that procedure for days after it was finished. The entire office heard me screaming and crying my eyes out. It was the absolute worst experience! I paid over $800 for torture and then on top of that I have NO TOOTH in the back to help me chew. Beware! I told my parents about my experience and they insisted I write a review to share with others my experience. I will never go back to this dentist.
